Rapid Reality Studios announced today that its first ever MMO video game title Phylon has now gone live. This title is an FPS with a story that revolves around the struggle for control and domination of the planet Aura. The different playable races include the Amphibian Resistance, Bloblic Imperium, and the Terran Colonists.

Phylon was supposed to be released back in April 6 but Rapid Reality needed more time with the game’s closed beta testing. The development studio’s COO, Tracy Spaight, commented,

We are excited to release Phylon as it represents a lot of work from our team and from gamers who provided tremendous feedback during the beta testing phase. We hope that players will enjoy the game, in particular, the battle arenas.

Speaking of which, the Battle Arenas are separated into two different categories: Deathmatch and Domination. In these battles, players will be able to advance their characters’ skills as well as gain access to hundreds of unique items (jet packs, energy shields, power-ups, weapons, etc).
