Mom as a Nintendo ambassador

Tracey ClarkCurrently in their move to promote Wii as a “family-friendly” console, Nintendo appointed Tracey Clark as a “Nintendo ambassador” and her mission is to sample all that Wii has to offer as a family-friendly console. You might be thinking she must be someone who is really into games, that’s why she was able to snag the title of Nintendo ambassador. Well, she’s not. Tracey Clark is a a work-at-home mum from Huntington Beach, California. And her list of interests doesn’t even include videogames or anything related to it at all!

You may be asking, how come a mum whose interests include blogging, camping, crafts, and photography was able to get to enjoy all the perks from Nintendo? Well, for your information, Tracey has been maintaining a personal blog that specifically caters to moms, which Nintendo stumbled upon and sparked their interest. After exchanging several emails, Tracey finally signed as the official Nintendo ambassador.

And the perks are? Not much. Just four TV setups and four Wii Gaming Systems installed throughout her house, thanks to Nintendo. She invited her friends and other family relatives to sample all Wii games. Don’t you suddenly wish you’re friends with her, too?

Not only that, party expenses were all billed by Nintendo, free Nintendo shirts, DS Lites and games as a ‘thank you’ gift from Nintendo – and of course, lots of fun! Tracey thinks this is one great bonding moment with her family and friends! Tracey added, “Nintendo won me over. And I think I can say the same for the 35 other people that we’re here. I’ll betcha half of them have already pre-ordered their Wii Systems (which won’t be available to the public until Nov. 19th). Which is I’m sure what this party set out to do. And if that is the case, mission accomplished guys. Wii now love Nintendo. And for the record, you are welcome in my home anytime!”

Wow! Don’t be surprised if batches of people will be trooping to your home after reading this. He-he! Check out all “Wiiunion” fun at Tracey Clark’s home:
