Monster Cable announces more special PS3 cable accessories
Sony‘s PlayStation 3 isn’t even out yet, and already we hear word of companies coming out with accessories for the console. One of these companies is one of the largest manufacturers of A/V cables this side of anywhere, and while we’ve mentioned one of their cables before, it seems they have a small array of PS3 cable products. All of which are marketed towards the gaming enthusiast who wants both a PS3 and an amazing audiovisual experience.
In addition to the PlayStation 3 HDMI Cable, Monster Cable Products will also offer PlayStation 3 Fiber Optic Digital Audio and Component Video A/V Cables for consumer use. Each of the cables are specially designed for the greatest performance and durability, including 24k gold contact Turbine connectors for their A/V cables and special optical fibers to increase sound quality in their digital audio cable.
Noel Lee, the company’s president, asserts, “The PS3’s HD games and 1080p-capable Blu-ray Disc movies can be amazing, but not when you hook it up with inferior or general-use cables.” That statement encompasses the reason for the development of the GameLink series and its current PS3 incarnation. Heftily priced from US$ 30 to US$ 100, it’s definitely going to be the gaming and audiovisual enthusiast’s dream come true.
For the rest of us, however, there’s always what’s in the box.
