You know, I only just got the reason why the Capcom blog is called “Capcom Unity” last night while making another run at Lao Shan Lung. Wow I’m slow. Speaking of Lao Shan Lung and big bad nasties in general, here are some screenshots showing off three of the brand new monsters in Capcom’s Monster Hunter Freedom Unite.

Those who’ve already played Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G will note that these monsters’ names have been changed from the original Japanese. The game’s star monster Narugakaruga is now the Nargacuga, the lava-dwelling Volganos is now called Lavasioth, and the bird-like the Hypnoc is now the Hypnocatrice.

Yeah, I don’t like the names, but it wouldn’t really matter when I’m bashing their heads in, would it? Check ’em out below along with a feature list for Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. The game drops in North America this June.
