Here’s a quick update for the guys who own a copy of Capcom‘s Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G for the PSP. The game will be receiving a new downloadable quest for your playing pleasure, challenging you to fight two Narugakuruga wyverns at once in the training school.

For those who don’t own a copy of the game yet, the Narugakuruga (aka the Pantherex/Naruga) holds a special place as 2nd G‘s mascot monster. Much like the Tigrex of Monster Hunter Freedom 2, the Naruga wyvern is actually patterned after an existing big cat, more specifically, a black panther.

It has a similar move list as the Tigrex save for a couple of unique tricks, such as the ability to shoot spikes from its tail when enraged. The dual Narugakuruga hunt is expected to be available at 1:00 p.m. Japan time, tomorrow (June 20).
