Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G upgraded weapon screenshots, details
The weapons in Capcom‘s Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G are pretty amazing. Well, it just got better with the introduction of some new upgrades that will make any fan of the series squeal with joy. To find out more and check out some of the screenshots of the new upgraded weapons in action, head on over to the full article.
As we reported on in a previous article, the weapons in Capcom‘s Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G range from “awesome” to “I think that’s against the Geneva Convention.” Well, apparently, the weapons can be further upgraded to bring even more pain to the unlucky monster you’re hunting.
Featured in the screenshots are upgraded forms of the twin blade, bow, hunting horn, and bowgun. The twin blade can now be modified to deal different kinds of damage such as ice or poison.
Fans of ranged combat should check out the new bow upgrades. One increases the damage of close-range attacks (useful when bum rushed by a monster) while the other allows the bow to mark the monster, making it easier to track.
Speaking of ranged combat, successive bowgun Crag Shots can now knock monsters unconscious. This new addition makes it a perfect weapon to use against those hard to beat monsters.
Finally, the hunting horn now has a new tune. Similar to the Sonic Bomb, this weapon can now draw monsters from their underground lairs into the open. You might want to be careful when using this though because you might call out something you’re not equipped to handle.
Anyway, we’re sure you want to see the upgraded weapons in action. So here are the screenshots, enjoy!
