More Castlevania Details

CastlevaniaKoji Igarashi clarified a few points on the DS’ unique features that will be used for Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin. Although Nintendo Wi–Fi Connection compatibility was confirmed for the game, Igarashi says that not the entire game will be so compatible. There will be a special level that can be played co-operatively online. The touch screen, which he’d earlier said they’d be ignoring, will actually be used. When both characters are on screen, you will use the d-pad to control your primary character and touchscreen to control your secondary character. Although this will work for solving simple puzzles, I don’t see how it would work for combat which would require button pressing…
