More cursor freedom in PSPWrite v1.0.3

PSPWrite - Image 1Making the Sony PlayStation Portable seem more like an end-all, be-all Swiss Knife tool instead of just a handheld might be PSP homebrew dev Zx-81‘s hobby, as he comes once more with his array of nifty homebrew applications. This time, he bears the latest version of PSPWrite, making it version 1.0.3, updated from PSPWrite version 1.0.2. Let’s check out what’s new with this version by reading the changelog below:

  • Add option to change the font size (8×8 or 6×10)
  • Use Analog pad to move faster
  • New CPU clock (from 133 to 333)

Two cursor modes :

  • the cursor move only on already written text.
  • the cursor can move everywhere.

New cursor modes equals easier text-editing joy, and the freedom certainly will be handy when it’s time to edit out those irritating typos. As always with Zx-81’s releases, all the information needed to set up, install, and use this program is in the readme file bundled along with the archive, so make sure to give that a read-through before doing anything else.
