Here a couple more details for the upcoming Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 downloadable content packs for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.
According to Haden Blackman, the project lead of the game, the announced DLC characters for The Force Unleashed (which included Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi) will only be skins.
Ultimately, you’ll still be controlling the apprentice, only he can have a split-second trip to the plastic surgeon everytime he grows tired of looking like BSG’s Crashdown. Still no Soul Calibur IV characters coming (thank the force), But there will be more Star Wars characters coming though.
The DLC pack containing the Jedi Temple will be a standalone level, meaning you won’t be able use the character you buffed up in the campaign. Instead, you’ll be given a pool of Force points, and you’ll spec your new character just for that mission.
Speaking of the Jedi Temple, it was also clarified that the new level will be something completely new to the Force Unleashed project – you won’t see it in any of the novels or comic books of the series. It’s to be noted that it’s also not the same Jedi Temple as seen in the PS2, PSP, or Wii versions.
