Through the character trailers, we’ve seen a lot of action from Cyanide Studios‘ upcoming video game Loki. You’re probably curious as to the other aspects of the game, like the weapons and items that you can use. Don’t worry! You’re in luck as we have a couple of interesting details for you today.
Loki for the PC boasts of customizable weapons and unique items galore. How would you like to wield Thor’s Hammer or wear Achilles’ armor, for example? There are a good number of collectible items (thousands) and unique items (500). As players progress, they can acquire higher levels of armor and weapons, which have 15 classes each and are scattered through 41 levels. The character will look different as players progress since the armor and weapons have unique looks.
Visit the local blacksmith in game to have your looted weapons and armor improved (by adding materials), or melted for raw materials. There are 17 different raw materials that can be obtained from the process so players can improve their existing weapons with them. Also, players can have the blacksmith dismantle weapons into two parts, the handle and the blade, so mixing and matching is possible. And you can attach magic runes to weapons to get additional attributes.
