More details on Mahjong Taikai Wii
Matchmaker, matchmaker,
make me a match.
Find me a find.
Catch me a catch…
So, how good are your matching skills? Confident enough that you can eliminate a whole grid of mahjong blocks easily? Coming out this December 21, Mahjong Taikai Wii will test your ability to clear out the deck. Koei is delivering the latest in their Mahjong series with this installment, right after their November release for Mahjong Taikai IV for the PS3.
One of the biggest features of this mahjong title is that it is playable with just one hand, using the D-pad and the A and B buttons in the Wiimote. However, while the PS3 game will support online play, there’s still no info if this feature will also make it to the Wii. If Koei decides to bring it over, that’s going to present a lot of possibilities: getting to play mahjong with friends and all. Now, unlike their Dynasty Warriors Mahjong title for the DS, there won’t be any battles with generals and soldiers here. Instead, you’d be able to pit against people who’d have different mahjong rules.
Now, some of you might think that mahjong games are boring. Well, maybe you’re not just the type. Some of the bloggers here actually think that mahjong is a good game that stimulates your mind. And for those types of gamers, who needs all the frills and bangs of graphics? Sometimes, gameplay is enough. And for them, mahjong titles are a very good match.
