More F.E.A.R. Coming To The Next Generation

Except don’t look for it to actually be called F.E.A.R. (which was a silly acronym anyway). The name F.E.A.R. belongs to Vivendi Universal Games, but developers Monolith who were purchased by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment in 2004 still own the IP (intellectual property) rights to the characters, story and universe. Monolith has expressed an interest in continuing the storyline from the original game using the original characters. No word just yet on what the sequel will be called or what next gen platforms other than the PC that will see it, but if it’s as fun and frantic and moody as F.E.A.R was we’ll be lining up front and center. Monolith also brought us Condemned: Criminal Origins for the Xbox 360, Aliens VS Predator 2, and Shogo: Mobile Armor Division.
