More Genji 2 Screenshots

In the absence of news about Genji 2, the sequel to the PS2 game Genji from Yoshiki Okamoto’s Game Republic studio, feast your eyes on these new screenshots. (There’s really not much to go on with, seeing that no other info about the game has been released yet.) The cutscenes are looking really good (we love the one where there’s snow falling around the two characters), and there are also some wallpapers ready to be pasted onto your desktops.

The detail in these images is pretty impressive. Character detail looks pretty good too, as seen from the in-game caps. Textures used in the cutscenes are realistic enough and have a nice depth and weight to them. The characters’ hairstyles look a bit… stringy though, with the exception of the character in the first screencap. And while we’re on the subject, that character’s a girl, right?
