More Ironside in more Splinter Cell: Double Agent interview trailers

These Splinter Cell: Double Agent interview trailers just pop up from all over the place, like Tom Clancy stablemates Rainbow or Ghost suddenly shattering the night, bringing in the thunder and lead. Or Fisher himself popping from the darkness to cut your throat, then dragging your corpse back to darkness… You catch our drift, right?

Not that we mind, anyway. This publicity blitz by Ubisoft is one good way to get a feel for the upcoming stealth game – that, and the Live Marketplace demos. Like before (twice), these two videos on GameVideos interview the voice behind Fisher, Michael Ironside. Again, we don’t mind. You see, at least speaking for myself, Michael Ironside’s renewed my faith in Hollywood video game voice acting, since he takes his craft as seriously as any Japanese seiyu (professional anime voice actor). That’s a +5 buff to respect in my book.

So let’s see him discuss the art of voice acting, as well as more on his take on Sam Fisher v4.0, a.k.a. the double agent Sam Fisher. (You can also download these two videos if you want to watch them over and over via the DL link.)
