More Killzone: Liberation Screenshots
As part of our coverage of Killzone: Liberation for the PSP, we bring you more screenshots.
It’s always so jolting to see these screenshots and compare them to the original Killzone for the PS2. The camera angles are all different because it’s not a first-person shoot-em-up anymore. The “smart” camera gives you an overview of the action. So what happens? We see strategy as becoming very important, especially in multiplayer games. You need to be stealthier. You need to cooperate with each other. This adds new elements to the gameplay that makes this game not just a simple port from the PS2 but into a game worth considering on its own merit.
This new title from Guerrilla Games is proof that a game shouldn’t just be transported from one system to another as if nothing ever happened. Value has to be added. The fans expect as much. The industry deserves as much. Are all you next-gen developers paying attention?
Oh, and thanks to Game Reactor for the images.
