Children’s Week on World of Warcraft Europe is one of those feel-good events that really make you feel that it is a breathing, living world you’re experiencing. Sure you can get some stuff from the quest, but even role-players will have fun playing this quest. This event is open to both low level and  high level characters so everyone can make a child smile and maybe get a small pet as a gift from their charges.

This event is already ongoing and will last until May 29. To participate you will have to talk with Orphan Matron Nightingale in Stormwind  if you’re with the accursed Alliance or Orphan Matron Battlewail in Orgrimmar if you decided to fight for the glorious Horde. As was previously mentioned, you will have to escort the orphans to certain locations. The rewards list is pretty cute as well, the children will give you their favorite pets to remember them by.

For higher leveled players, you can visit Shattrath’s Lower City and talk to Orphan Matron Mercy for the quest. These players will have to take their child to various locations such as The Dark Portal, The Exodar (Alliance), Silvermoon City (Horde), and the Caverns of Time. It’s been said that you might meet a few “unexpected people along the way” so it wouldn’t hurt to be prepared. The rewards are also the favorite pets of these children.

The players who have already taken part in the event were really touched by the event. Some have even been talking about what the kids would grow up to be. Blizzard really did a good job with this quest given the response of most of the players. Before you go, be sure to check out some of the screenshots of the event.
