More of ’em Zendoku screens for DS
For the benefit of those not in the know, Eidos Interactive and Zoonami Ltd are currently cooking up a Sudoku-based puzzle game to be released for the DS and PSP, called Zendoku.
So far we’ve only been introduced to two characters we’ll be encountering in the game — Ayumi and Musashi. But based on the screens we’ve been seeing lately, Zendoku looks like it’s living up to the promise of bringing your good old pen-and-paper puzzle game to a new level by infusing some martial arts action into the game.
In the words of Zoonami’s CEO Martin Hollis, Zendoku will show your handhelds a “puzzling, battling, micro-gaming, fighting extravaganza.”
We have yet to score more Zendoku screens for the PSP but while we do that, here’s a bunch of screenshots from the DS version of the game. Zendoku is still under development at Zoonami Ltd labs and is set for release Q2 2007 for both handhelds.
