More on Skate: Multiplayer Features and Experiences Interview
GameTrailers gets us up to speed on the multiplayer features of the much-awaited skateboarding title for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, Skate, by way of an interview with Jay Balmer, the game’s producer. In the brief clip, we learn that besides being able to skate an urban world filled with non-skating civilians to mess with, we’re given the opportunity to make videos of our own while playing the game, and be able to let other players watch those videos – just the motivation we need to get that sick combo down pat and earn huge online bragging rights.
When asked about the video game’s release date, Jay Balmer didn’t quite nail it down to a specific date, but he did confirm that Electronic Arts‘ Skate will be released sometime this year. Let’s hope he sticks to his word. For a game that promises to bring the true experience of skating, as well as an awesome-looking trailer, waiting for it is going to be as painful as road rash.
