More Prinny plushies, merchandise for Prinny PSP launch

Prinny: Can I Really Be the Hero? - Image 1If there were a most-plushed-up-character contest, one of the winners would undoubtedly be Prinny. (Probably only second to that annoying lightning-based rodent with electrodes on its cheeks)

To celebrate the upcoming launch of Prinny: Can I Really Be the Hero? in Japan, Nippon Ichi is rolling out more collectibles for Disgaea fans. Don’t worry, I don’t think the Prinny dolls explode when you throw them.

To celebrate the upcoming launch of Prinny: Can I Really Be the Hero? in Japan, Nippon Ichi is rolling out more collectibles for Disgaea fans.

First up, a freebie for all those who buy the game from November 20 to January 11: it’s an Etna-Prinny pin. The art on the pin is what you can see on the right. Pins included with the game disc are limited. As for other collectibles:

  • there’s a blue PSP pouch with Prinny embossed on it: JPÂ¥ 1,785 (about US$ 18)
  • the pink Prinny plush doll is the biggest one at 17cm (costs JPÂ¥ 2,980; around 30 bucks in the US),
  • and the two smaller Prinny dolls – both of which are 12.5cm, and cost JPÂ¥ 1,890 each (that’s a little less than US$ 20).
    • one with a detachable red muffler
    • another with Laharl’s trademarked antenna-looking hair
  • all Prinny dolls may explode when thrown
