More Resident Evil 4 screens come out
Just how good was Resident Evil 4? So good that just about every credible review site and magazine gave it a perfect score or something pretty close. So good that it made drastic deviations from how its classic predecessors played and still commanded the same reverence from new and old fans. In fact, it was so good that it debuted on the GameCube, went to the PlayStation 2 then came back full circle aboard the Nintendo Wii.
But we’re not here to talk about that. What we have here are some sweet screens of that phenomenal survival horror that chilled you yet again. We must admit that the visuals aren’t that far off from its GC and PS2 versions, but they’re good enough on the Wii version considering its hardware capabilities.
We’re familiar with the locales depicted here. The village looks as eerie as ever and we won’t have it any other way. Too bad these shots can’t give us a preview of how the controls will be, because quite frankly that’s what everyone is looking forward to at this point. Just the thought of a Wiimote-driven Chicago Typewriter makes us involuntarily generate bad intentions for the Las Plagas-stricken peasants….
