ZOMG it's HUGE!

Deviantart.com, that shining bastion of art both game-related and not, has just delivered something that definitely made my mood a lot brighter.

From the mind and hands of TheRealSlimPickins comes the huge piece of gamer art that you see above this block of text. That, folks, is an acrylic painting of a NES controller, made to scale. According to the creator, the painting measures in at a whopping 40×20 inches, roughly eight times that of a normal NES controller.

I would gladly hang this on my wall if someone were to give me one as a New Year’s gift. Now if only someone would make a made-to-scale NES controller rug that you can actually use as an emulator control pad…
