Before we get to the screenshots, let’s have a little backgrounder first. Insecticide is a Nintendo DS title that puts gamers into the shoes of Detective Chrys Liszt.

She and her partner Roachy Caruthers are members of the Insecticide Division investigating a murder at a soft drink company. Oh, and they’re insects. In fact, everybody on their planet’s an insect..

The game incorporates shooter elements as well as the tried and tested puzzle-solving mechanic usually found in DS titles. Players will conduct investigations and interrogate a few bugs in between shooting at the nefarious creepy crawlies they meet in the game. Insecticide will also feature a variety of weapons such as the pollinator and the amberizer.
