Still think you’re too hardcore to get Beautiful Katamari? Maybe this Mass Construction video will change your mind. As we’ve seen in past trailers, the Katamari rolls around collecting and assimilating stuff. But wait, there’s more! Check the clip out to see:

As you can see, there’s a lot more to rolling around in that Katamari. You actually have to plan which objects to assimilate first due to the fact that you can’t take in things bigger than you. The bigger you get and the more you take stuff in, the bigger the objects you can gobble up. The puzzle mechanism is done pretty creatively, so you’ll spend time rolling around, having fun while you turn into this blob of crazy clutter.

The demo is available now for Xbox Live users. Namco Bandai is putting in some serious effort to add lighter joys to the predominantly hardcore Xbox 360 base. Let’s see how this one fares with the fans.
