Mortal Kombat: Armageddon hits Wiis across the U.S.
The latest installment in Midway Games‘ popular Mortal Kombat fighting franchise has finally made its way to Nintendo‘s next gen Wii video game console. In an announcement made today, Midway revealed that the Wii version of Mortal Kombat: Armageddon has shipped to retail stores across the U.S.
Mortal Kombat: Armageddon is the first Mortal Kombat title to make an appearance on the Nintendo Wii. It brings all of the characters that appeared in previous Mortal Kombat titles to a big free-for-all along with two new characters. The Wii version of the game also includes an exclusive fighter named Khameleon.
Wii owners and Mortal Kombat fans can get a copy for a suggested retail price of US$ 49.95. The game was released for the Sony PS2 and Microsoft‘s Xbox console last year.
