Mortal Kombat Armageddon gets moved to June 14 - Image 1The launch date for the Wii version of Midway GamesMortal Kombat Armageddon has been moved from early May to June 14. Perhaps this has something to do with all the changes developers have been implementing to the game.

The local distributor of the game, Red Ant Enterprises, had no comment regarding this delay. However, a statement was given by Steve Allison, the chief marketing officer from Midway. He said that the company promises it’ll deliver a product which will be appreciated when it finally launches. We certainly hope so, Steve.

Allison was also quoted earlier this year about the game.

Our Chicago studio, under the direction of Ed Boon, has been working extremely hard to make Armageddon stand out in a big way with the inclusion of the entire Mortal Kombat character lineup, the Motor Kombat minigame, a new Konquest mode and several other innovative gameplay additions that help keep the franchise at the top of its genre.

So it’s official, those waiting for Mortal Kombat Armageddon to arrive in Australia will have to wait just a little longer before it arrives.
