After a bit of waiting and anticipation, our European gaming comrades have to wait no more – Mortal Kombat II is now out with a EUR$ 2.99 (US$ 3.99) introductory price tag.

Relive the classic game that made mothers shriek, beat that guy up in 2-player mode before finishing off with a fatality, or even hook up online to get some action: it’s yours to decide. There are leaderboards and stat counters online to enhance your multiplayer experience.

The 12 characters that we all loved are still intact, so use them at your disposal to top the competition. Unlockable bosses and opponents are still there too, with 10 different levels to fight on.

Either you want a nostalgic trip, or simply intrigued at the controversial series, MKII is most definitely worth a try.
