Mortal Kombat II on PSN this March

Mortal Kombat II Sub-Zero - Image 1Midway Games‘ creative director for Mortal Kombat, Ed Boon, has been talking about coming up with a next-gen version that will be the last one for this generation of consoles.

But while that one is still under wraps, we’ve got news for you that is sure to cause some serious “fatality”. Mortal Kombat and PS3 might not be remotely related at first glance. Come March though, the arcade classic Mortal Kombat II will finally grace the PS3. MK II will be downloadable via the PlayStation Network (PSN) for just US$ 4.99.

Two players can play simultaneously using any of the 12 characters from the different realms. All final bosses will be present as well, together with the hidden characters. We had fun playing MK II back then, and to be quite frank, we found it a little difficult like most of you guys did.

If you remember,  the computer-controlled Sub-Zero can perform ground freeze then follow it up with deep freeze at once. With the re-release of this classic, we will be sure to try that trick over and over. Finish Him!
