MotorStorm a PS3 Launch Title?

I think I was about the only person who paid any attention to the MotorStorm demo that Sony showed off when it debuted the PS3. Full motion graphics be damned, the clip showed off some truly serious graphical effects that truly scream “next-gen.”

If early news sources are to be believed, it seems that MotorSport will be one of the launch titles to be released when the PS3 hits stores, hopefully later this year. According to Gamespot:

“On Evolution Studios’ Web site, the company says that it is working on “a ‘next-gen’ PS3 launch title called MotorStorm” (emphasis added).”

Sounds good. With all of the hype surrounding some of Sony’s other titles, it would be nice to complement them with some other titles that are working hard at delivering a quality experience.
