MotorStorm: Pacific Rift - Image 1If you can’t wait to get you gears in full throttle for MotorStorm: Pacific Rift, then you’ll be glad to know that a date has finally been set for its release. And it’s just a month away.

Posting at the PlayStation US Blogs was David Bull, SCEA‘s product marketing specialist. According to the entry, Pacific Rift has been given the green light for an October 28 release. Once it arrives, you can now have your fill of the eight vehicle classes to choose from including the Monster Truck.

Gameplay is definitely more exciting, too, as you can do head-to-head races with your friends in the new 4-player split-screen mode. There are also 26 diverse multi-route tracks that feature real-time terrain deformation. That way, there are no two same lapses. Oh, and of course, Trophy is included.

SCEA also seems to have a tie-in promo with retailer GameStop. If you pre-order your copy today, the retailer-exclusive demo for MotorStorm: Pacific Rift is yours. There are other pre-order programs in store for you guys, but those won’t be announced till later. So keep it posted here for more news and updates.
