MotorStorm v1.2 coming June 7

 

Well, it’s not coming out in mid-May, but it is coming out soon. MotorStorm v1.72 is sporting a lot of fun changes. IGN, however, has added even more details about the update, promising racing battles against the most devious of competitors: ourselves.

That’s right! The game will be adding a Time Attack mode into the mix, letting you race against your best time which, if IGN’s description is accurate, means you’ll actually be racing a ghost version of your best time. The fastest ghosts for a track will also be immortalized in Sony‘s global leaderboards, allowing you to compete against the ghosts of the best racers who’ve ever played MotorStorm. You can also race against several different ghost types, including user-made ghosts, best time ghosts, and developer made “Evolution Ghosts.”
