MotorStorm’s Japanese release date pushed back to December 14
Japanese PS3 owners will have to go an additional week of waiting for their fix of next-gen motor madness. MotorStorm, one of the most anticipated December releases for the PS3, has just been pushed seven days. The game will now hit stores on December 14 instead of the original December 7 date.
Sony officials are reportedly keeping the reasons for the delay tightly under wraps, with the official comments being pretty vague on the matter. One possible reason though is that Sony wanted to have a big December 14 PS3 release day, since the PS3 version of Sega‘s Armored Core 4 will also be released in Japan on the 14th.
All of MotorStorm‘s adrenaline-pumping goodness will be coming to North American shores in March 2007, and while Japan does get the game first, the Japanese version of MotorStorm will not have online play. For a peek at the thrills and spills that await gamers, check out this previous QJ article.
