Movie downloads denies iMac and iPod access

Full-length, feature movies are now available for download on MovieLink, an offering from six of Hollywood’s largest movie studios. Unfortunately, the 75 downloadble movies, to be available on April 10, can only be run on Windows PC. Since it is highly reliable on Windows Media, the MovieLink downloads are not available for Mac and Linux users. Mac users trying to access the MovieLink website only get the following message: “Sorry, but as of May 2, 2005, Movielink no longer supports Windows 98 and ME operating systems. Movielink also does not support Mac or Linux.”

Tough luck. Maybe next time!
