Brain Challenge, a pretty popular game that started out on mobile platforms and eventually hit the iPod, DS, and Xbox 360 (via XBLA), is now also heading for Sony platforms and the Nintendo Wii. Looks like the GameLoft studio is spreading out to other viable markets.
Via Siliconera, we hear that the USK - Germany's own counterpart for the ESRB - has rated Brain Challenge for the PSP and PS3 platforms, as well as the Wii. Chances are, it's going to be available on the PlayStation Network and WiiWare.
Pretty interesting bit of development here. Is this now a trend? Primarily, GameLoft's always been a developer on the mobile platform, and later on, has now been pretty active on XBLA and WiiWare too. Now, with releases on XBLA and WiiWare - and PSN soon - it looks like mobile development is moving towards bigger game to hunt, so to speak.
