MS to Sony: “Wish you were here”
According to MicrosoftÂ’s European Xbox VP Chris Lewis, Microsoft was apparently disappointed that Sony was a “no-show” in that region this Christmas. According to him, it would have been a good opportunity to finally place the two consoles side by side to see which one is truly better. He says that
The lowlight of our Christmas was the lack of anything from our main next-generation competition. We were looking forward to some friendly rivalry and the chance to prove that games look and play better on Xbox 360 – but Sony didn’t show!
All in all though, Lewis says that they are “very pleased with our Christmas performance” as they now have plenty of hardware in stock, good retail offers and a healthy library of game titles.
Hopefully, Sony will soon be able to come out and play, once it sets foot in Europe this March.
