My Xbox’s post-downtime additions
Remember the bummer downtime Xbox Live and Xbox.com had? We were thinking if you missed the teennie winnie other reason why it happened, aside from the scheduled maintenance, because of the sudden outburst of disapprovals in the comments section. Microsoft promised back then that they would be bringing in “cool and new” but secret stuff. What do you guys know, that “cool, new” stuff isn’t so secret anymore.
Accordingly, the new addition involves a flawless integration between Xbox 360, Xbox Live and Xbox.com. Now, My Xbox shows the users Friend’s List, the achievements earned, and the Xbox Live game you play in real time. The new feature that begins right about now also allows users to configure settings of their Xbox Live account. The latter was only customizable before from the X360.
Furthermore, gamecard zone, gamer picture and privacy settings can now be edited in the “Manage Profile” section through the “Edit Gamecard” button. The sub-section of the Account Management on the other hand, allows for modification of membership, Microsoft points, prepaid card redemption and updating users’ billing and contact information.
Enough said. Log in now to My Xbox and tell us if those indeed are new and cool or otherwise.
