MyPSP Robotics 4.4.1: MyEye example set

PSP Homebrew Developer ccpspita has released some proof of concept applications for the MyPSP Robotics program. The MyEye example set includes a program that recognizes contours, one that recognizes patterns, one that can detect motion and more using the GoCam. Users are advised to use caution as the programs may cause the unit to crash (ccpspita advises to restart the unit if it does.)

Users are advised to use caution as the programs may cause the unit to crash (ccpspita advises to restart the unit if it does). Here are the programs as described by ccpspita:

• Skin color histogram detection: move your eyes not far from the GoCam
• Canny Edge detector: fundamental filter to recognize contours
• 8×6 Chessboard: print out the chessboard pattern and move it in front of GoCam
• Pattern recognition and optical flow: move in front of GoCam (a little slow… sorry)
• Motion detector: stroboscopic detection of motion with area moving and direction
