Mysteriously big Halo 3 revelation coming in May

The picture you see to your right was sent by Microsoft to various press sources. An intriguing little teaser of a picture, but Microsoft also dropped another thing: May 11. Yeah, we’re definitely going to “save that date.” Might do you good to do the same thing too.

Apparently, there’s going to be some sort of press event somewhere in San Francisco where they’d supposedly reveal something BIG for Halo 3. An “exclusive preview” of sorts, that’s what they say.

But as to what it could be… Well, for one thing the Beta happens in May 16. However, what’s this “exclusive preview” on May 11 that’s gotten everyone a-buzz online? An exclusive preview of the beta? It could be something else.

Something as substantially great that could forever change they way we see Master Chief. And judging from the latest rumors… Could this May 11 event be about Halo 3 on 1080p or the Halo sequel?
