Namco Bandai, Cellius working on PS3 Evangelion game?
It seems a Neon Genesis Evangelion game is in the works for the Sony PlayStation 3. What appears to be an announcement for the new game has been spotted in a fold-in included in the Blu-ray release of the anime Evangelion 1.0: You Are (Not) Alone.
It seems a Neon Genesis Evangelion game is in the works for the Sony PlayStation 3. What appears to be an announcement for the new game has been spotted in a fold-in included in the Japanese Blu-ray release of the anime Evangelion 1.0: You Are (Not) Alone.
Logos on the ad show that Namco Bandai and Cellius, Inc. are attached to the project. Cellius is the Sony-Namco Bandai joint company headed by Ken Kutaragi, the brains behind the PlayStation console.
You’ll also notice that there are game IDs at the bottom of the ad. SLPS 25932 and ULJS 00201 refer to the PS2 and PSP versions of Evangelion: JO!, respectively. So maybe it’s a PS3 version of JO!?
