Namco Bandai today declared their intention to ramp up digital releases for PSP and Xbox 360. The company plans to increase digitally distributed titles via Microsoft’s Games on Demand service and Sony’s PlayStation Network.

These releases will cover both current titles and classic fare. PSOne classics for PS3 and PSP are also in the bag. Said Robert Stevenson, vice president of online development at Namco Bandai’s American arm:

Expanding our digital distribution presence across all major platforms is an essential part of our worldwide corporate strategy. Through this initiative, our consumers will have access to our latest releases, bestsellers and hard to find classics with the press of a button.

Well, the more games the merrier.
