After seeing the screenshots and video of Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes 2: The Phantom Fortress in action, we couldn’t help but wonder when this game will be released. A recent press release from Atari let slip that the game will be hitting retail stands in Europe by July this year.
The game puts players in the shoes of Naruto as he climbs his way to the top of a mysterious flying fortress which has descended onto the Hidden Leaf Village. Along the way, players can expect to encounter other Ninjas (from the series which inspired the game) who will help him out on his quest.
Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes 2: The Phantom Fortress features quite a number of gameplay modes (six in total) including the aforementioned single player game, co-op, and Wireless Battle. In addition, the game also has a Naruto Points Mode which allows players to obtain and view unlockable items in the game.
