NBA Elite is the new Live

From now on, NBA Live is no more. No, don’t worry, EA isn’t scrapping out the franchise. They’re just giving it a new name, freshen it up a bit. So when the 11th iteration of the NBA game franchise comes out later this year, start looking for NBA Elite 11 instead.

The name isn’t the only change going on in the backyard of the basketball videogame. OXM reveals in their upcoming July edition that this time, the game will be featuring realtime physics. It also seems that both dribbling and shooting have been delegated mostly to the right analog stick.

 

 

 

 

Now, back to the name-change, EA Sports have not said anything regarding the reason behind this change, but it’s apparent that coming along with the new name are some new directions for the franchise. We hope it’s all going to be for the better.
