NCsoft 3Q net profits up, Tabula Rasa remains hazy

ncsoftNCsoft recorded net sales of US$ 90 million during the third quarter, bringing home £ 7.19 million in net profit. The South Korean-based company credited its line up of MMORPG titles for the cash windfall. NCSoft reportedLineage, Lineage II, and City of Heroes and City of Villains all generated business beyond expectations.

NCsoft’s home market contributed the bulk of the company’s earnings. South Korean gamers contributed US$ 57 million to the company’s piggy bank. The rest of the monies came from North America (US$ 16.80 million), Europe (US$ 6.46 million) and Japan (US$ 9.64 million).
