NCsoft CFO Lee Jae-ho clarified that, while some downsizing is inevitable at NCsoft’s recently formed studio in Austin, Texas, it will only be limited to the Tabula Rasa team. It’s not as if the company isn’t giving up on the title, either: NCsoft has reportedly committed to investing several million dollars more into the game’s development.

Furthermore, Richard Garriott‘s Tabula Rasa is also set to launch in Japan later this year. Jae-ho has expressed hope that the game’s revenue stream will improve over time, especially since Richard Garriott’s other games have purportedly been doing well in the Land of the Rising Sun.
