NCsoft delays CoV, CoH Issue 11 free costume token feature

The Issue 11: A Stitch in Time patch for MMORPG titles City of Heroes and City of Villains went live as planned but unfortunately, the release wasn’t as smooth as the NCsoft developers intended it to be.

The Issue 11: A Stitch in Time patch for MMORPG titles City of Heroes and City of Villains went live as planned but unfortunately, the release wasn’t as smooth as the NCsoft developers intended it to be.

According to the company’s Community Manager Alex von Minden (aka Lighthouse), something went wrong with the implementation of some of its features. He further explained this and divulged the solutions over at the games’ official forum site:

We wanted to update everyone on the Free Costume Token. Unfortunately, it was not applied to everyone as we had initially planned today with the release of Issue 11.

Rather than take the servers back down to apply those tokens, we are planning to give them out on our usual server maintenance period on Friday, November 30th. Our apologies for the delay and any inconvenience caused because of it.

Aside from the free costume token, there are no reports if the other features like the free respecs for City of Villains and City of Heroes will be affected by this delay.
