NDSHB WiFi Contest Winners Announced
The winners of the NDSHB WiFi conetest have been announced today. This contest had only a handful of entries (4 entries) which guaranteed each contestant a prize. The winner of this WiFi game competition goes to JimmyL who created Explosive Gas! Explosive Gas was an online, Rockman-type clone that involved blowing up your opponents, and running away from those unsettling bombs. The second place prize went to PhotoCup DS with it’s unique gameplay for the NDS and the high-score system that the judges just adored.
Third place went to WiFi Blubb where you would blast your opponents out of the water in a battleship WiFi clone. The judges enjoyed the ability to commute to your opponent, making it a true multiplayer game. Last but not least, the last place prize went to IRC DS. The reason for this was because none of the judges had the proper OS (LiraNuna) or proper .net installed. I myself had all of these installed on my PC, and would like to say that I enjoyed this application since I am always on the go and hate to leave IRC on my PC all day. Well, not all was loss for the developer as he still received a GBA MP, which is better than nothing! Congratulations to all the contestants, and great apps/games!
