Necro-Nesia gives Wiimote one scary twist

For a launch title (Japan launch title that is), you might be thinking that too little information is known regarding the survival horror game Necro-Nesia. Hmm, what exactly do we know about this game? First, it is being developed by Spike, then its plot goes something as vague as a camper trapped in a forest overran by huge bugs. And after that, nothing more is known about it. Well, we hope this update gives you a clearer picture of this dark title.

According to Famitsu, the story will involved these three characters: Halley, assistant professor of Insect Physiological Study, a lady employee of a major medicine company that is somehow related to the bugs, and one shady character named Robert. The relationship among the three is still unclear as of now but it’s interesting to note one gameplay highlight of Necro-Nesia and that is crossing the balance bridge. When a player approaches the bridge, a blue and yellow compass appear, the Wiimote must be turned and twisted to maintain the character’s balance.

To make things more creepy, we heard that Necro-Nesia somewhat goes into a time loop. Accordingly, whenever players reach certain game areas or stages, the whole event will begin anew with different surprises. We hope that the last statement didn’t confuse you. If it did, maybe we just have to be contented with these screenshots. For now, there is still no word about the European and the U.S. release dates.
