Need a Light?
There are so many choices out there when it comes to flashlights. You have the cheap multi-color plastic ones right up to the huge metal Mag-lites. These are all good and fine but perhaps all you need is a small lite that will fit into your pocket without worries of it cracking or weighing you down.
Ben Henry, from Grants Pass, Oregon, invented a tiny LED light that actually fits onto the end of a 9V battery and provides just as much light as a conventional flashlight, if not more. It’s called the Pak-Lite, such a fitting name.
There are 3 settings (high, low, off), and the burn time runs between 600 hours to 1200 hours on low depending on the type of battery. There is also a wide variety of colors and styles to choose from. The Pak-Lite ranges from $12.99 to $29.99 depending upon battery type and other features.
This simplistic looking device has been tested and used by the military, pilots, outdoors men, recreational campers etc. and they are all very impressed with the light’s longevity, durability, and convenience.
