Need For Speed: Carbon and Emmanuel Vaugier

EmmanuelleYes. Please look at the picture and imagine that you left this girl 5 years ago. No tearful goodbyes or anything. Just flat out never called her again–left town for parts unknown. Now imagine, you come back to clear your name (you were framed for stealing some large amount of money) and you need her help to prove your innocence. Will she help you clear your name?

This is how Need for Speed: Carbon starts.

We were looking for the girl that they’ll be including in the game. We’ve found her. Game boys, meet Emmanuelle Vaugier. In the game she’ll play Nikki, your ex-girlfriend.

We’ve just read an interview where she says that she found acting for games as a more challenging way of honing her craft. It takes quite a lot of imagination and internalization for someone to imagine and act with non-existent people, environments and cars all around the whole day. She also found voice acting as fun.

And yes, she’s also a gamer. She’s been playing quite a lot of racing games like Need For Speed: Most Wanted and also tried out the Need For Speed: Carbon trial. She also used to play Super Mario Bros., Pac-Man, and Legend of Zelda. Oh and by the way, if there’s ever a sequel to this, she’s more than willing to do it. And that, folks, is good for the game continuity. Will she come back for the next sequel? It’ll depend on how this one ends.
