Just in case you felt the need for speed again, EA is giving you an added incentive to play Need for Speed: Shift again – for a price, that is. Coming soon to the online stores is a DLC pack that’ll add seven supercars and a new track to your selection.

By “supercars”, I mean:

• Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione
• BMW M1 Procar
• GUMPERT apollo
• Honda NSX
• McLaren MP4-12C
• Maserati GranTurismo S
• Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Stirling Moss

 

Coming with those tight rides will be the new Riviera track, which “four unique layouts, each with daring corners, multiple blazing straight-aways and a few hairpins that will push these cars to the limit.”

 

All in all, 50 new events will be added to the game, tailored especially for those seven cars. For your efforts, you will be rewarded with five more Trophies, or 125 gamerpoints.

 

The DLC pack will come only to the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game on March 18th, priced at US$ 9.99 or 800 Microsoft Points.
