Da_MerV is announcing the release of Let’s Roll!, a homebrew game that’s been announced as an entry for the ongoing NEO Spring Coding Competition 2008.
The game’s objective is pretty simple: Your job is to roll a ball along a course and into a designated goal.
Think that’s all there is to it? Nope – Da_MerV further notes that Let’s Roll will make full use of the Neoflash motion kit, meaning that moving the ball is done by actually tilting your PSP. Let’s Roll! will carry a couple of levels of increasing difficulties, along with these features:
- Realistic control with the motion kit
- Pseudo 3D levels and great graphics
- Simple gameplay for any age player
- Small size: the entire pack is only 1.56 MB uncompressed
Keep in mind that you will need the motion kit plugged into your handheld before running this game. That said, we advise the readers to keep an eye out as more entries to this year’s NEO contest are announced in the days to come.
